SEPTEMBER 2019 | BUCHAREST, ROMANIA

EASTERN EUROPE’S LARGEST DIVERSITY INITIATIVE

The Women in Finance Awards is Europe’s largest diversity initiative, recognising the high-achievers, advocates, and role models for women in the sector.

Women in Finance Awards is launching in Eastern Europe to continue its mission of celebrating and encouraging female talent in finance and gender balance at all levels.

Organised by Bonhill Group plc and supported by GrowthBusiness.co.uk and What Investment magazine, last year’s event hosted 800 of the UK’s top finance professionals and celebrated the achievements of 222 finalists out of over 793 nominations received, across a broad range of finance functions: from the world of venture capital and banking to accountancy and corporate law.

We’d like to thank our 2018 key commercial partners including AIG, AXA, Belvedere, EY, FinTech Strategic Advisory Ltd, GP Bullhound, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, London Stock Exchange, LV=, Macquarie, M&G Investments, NatWest, Prudential, Rolls-Royce, Schroders, and Virgin Money.

Our media partners included UK Business Angels Association, London Women’s Forum, The Personal Investment Management and Financial Advice Association (PIMFA), SavvyWoman, Voice at the Table, Innovate Finance, and Women’s Enterprise Scotland.

Presenting the 2018 ceremony was respected journalist, broadcaster and TV presenter Louise Minchin, while keynote speaker John Glen MP, Economic Secretary to HM Treasury, delivered an insightful keynote speech.

We hope you will join us in 2019 and continue to promote the fortunes of women in Europe’s burgeoning finance sector. With your help, we can shape a future for the industry underpinned by inclusivity and opportunity for all.
